Even since I registered with LJ, I have been thinking what I want to use it for. I contemplated doing blogs as a way to stay in contact with my friends oversea, posting my book reviews, or just using it to vent how ugly RL is. After much debate, I decided my LJ is going to be a place where I store and inventory my yaoi collections, which include manga, online scanlations, drama CDs, animations, fan fictions, BL novels, etc. I have got so many of them I am starting to lose track. From now on, I will feature one mangaka in each post and share all the little extra, bits and pieces about the mangaka or the manga that I gathered over the years. (My most priced extra so far is the Love Mode extra featuring the grown up Naoya and Reiji). If you happen to come across something you like, feel free to take it. I hope you will leave commends so we can discuss our love of yaoi. So for the grand opening of my 1st LJ entry, I bring you the beautiful yaoi eye candy. Recently, www.flycoo.cn hosted a BL manga cover competition and asked their members to nominate and vote for the most beautiful BL manga cover ever. Based on the voting result, they posted the top 20s. I don’t know enough of English to describe how beautiful they are except to say they are truly eye candy, period. There are over 100 submissions and I can not tell you how much fun I had drooling over pairs after pairs of gorgeous semes and ukes.
P.S. The top 10 are all by well known mankada so I will not bother with introductions. Surprisingly, none of the beloved Youka Nitta's manga made to top 20. A puzzle for me.
